Get Ready for the Falcon Fun Run !!!

What is the Falcon Fun Run?  It is time once again to raise money for the PTSA. The kids will collect donations from family and friends and then participate in a Fun Run to raise money for PTSA programs and activities in the 2016-17 school year. Our goal is to raise $35,000 at this event.

Why are we raising money and how are these funds actually used? Although we had an extremely successful auction 2 school years ago, PTSA funds need to be replenished in order to continue the high level of support provided for our children. All funds will go directly to support and enrich your child’s education and school experience through:

  • Academic Enrichment- AR Reading program, IXL Math, Nature Vision Science curriculum, Imagine Art and learning enrichment grants.
  • School Activities- Assemblies, Author visits, Staff Appreciation, Social Events, ArtWalk, International Night
  • Classroom Funds- providing our hardworking teachers with much needed classroom supplies
  • Playground Improvements
  • Parent Education

When will the Falcon Fun Run be held? Wednesday, September 28, 2016- during school hours. Our kick-off assembly will be September 14th. Look out for donation packets coming home with your student that afternoon.

Where will the kids be running? The students will race in the school parking lot. For their safety, the entrance will be coned off and guarded by volunteers. The parking lot will be closed at 8:30am.
