PTA Mission and Goals

Mission Statement

To support and serve the Rachel Carson Elementary School and Community and promote the wellness, safety, education and enrichment of all children.

Goals

• Continue to give generous support for our teachers and their classrooms.
• Speak on behalf of children as an advocacy resource for parents, the school community, and the community at large.
• Maintain a financially stable and responsible, well managed organization.
• Support programs that promote awareness and appreciation of the diversity within our Community.
• To inspire students to engage in leadership opportunities that support our school and community.
• Promote the wellness and safety of the Rachel Carson Community.
• Communicate effectively and encourage all families to participate in the PTSA and/or the school.
